"Happy Reunion!" After a few months of being in boot camp, Commander Orduna invited to Christmas dinner former Cadets Infante, Junior, and Muy Ricardo, now presently in active duty with the United States Marine Corps, and former Cadet Gutierrez, Arnoldo presently in active duty with the United States Navy. We were joined by former Marine Hon. City of New York Council-Member Hiram Monserrate, our Chaplain former Marine second world war veteran Sgt. Maher, F. Thomas, and former Marine -- my son -- Chief Executive Officer, Sgt. Orduna, Osbert Iraq war veteran. Semper Fi,God Bless You All. [Photo]

Council Member Honorable Hiram Monserrate and the Cadets held its annual Christmas Party. We served food, beverages, and cake to over 500 guests from our community. [Photo]

The Council of the City of New York, and Council Member Honorable Hiram Monserrate, invited the Cadets for the official annual Veterans Recognition Day Ceremony. At this Ceremony Chief Executive Officer Osbert Orduna received a Proclamation for his military experience and dedication during the time he served in Iraq defending our freedom and democracy. The United States Marine Corps, Garden City District, invited the Cadets to celebrate the first Marine Corps Family Reunion Day, at Flushing Meadow Park in Queens, NY, were the Cadets served hot dogs and sodas to all the guests. [Photo]

Maltese, presented two Certificates of Appreciation to Commander Alirio Orduna for his outstanding patriotism and devotion to our nation and its veterans. The Marine Corps League, North Shore Queens Detachment #240, presented Commander Alirio Orduna, during its annual graduation ceremony, with a "Certificate of Commandation" for unselfish service to the youth of New York, and in promoting the values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment. The New York Naval & Marine Youth Cadets held its annual graduation ceremony. Thirty Cadets graduated, and Cadet Andreina Carrasco was selected by the Military Board as the "Cadet of the Year, 2004." She received a meritorius promotion, a Medal of Honor, and a Cerificate of Achievement from the United States Marine Corps League. Honorable Hiram Monserrate, of the City council of the City Of New York, presented her with a Citation for her dedication, motivation and leadership in the NYNMYC. [Photo]
